My name is Volker Wieland, and I am pleased to give you an insight into my professional career and my passion for entrepreneurial challenges.

For almost three decades, I have worked in various leadership positions, always striving to strengthen the competitiveness of companies and develop innovative solutions. My professional journey spans across diverse industries, including automotive, telecommunications, and various manufacturing companies, encompassing roles from executive management to consulting in cost optimization and supply chain management.

With a degree in engineering and my extensive experience as a CEO and entrepreneur, I have the knowledge and skills to tackle complex business challenges and achieve sustainable success. My commitment to excellence and innovation drives me to continuously seek opportunities for improvement and explore new avenues to create value for my clients and partners.

Expense Reduction Analysts DACH:
Since May 2021, I have been a partner at Expense Reduction Analysts DACH. In this role, I support medium-sized companies, public sector institutions, and non-profit organizations in improving their competitiveness.

Wieland Trade & Consulting: Since September 2020, I have been the owner of Wieland Trade & Consulting. My focus is on supply chain management and global sourcing, particularly in the area of electromechanical and electrical components.

ECAD Electronic Components and Devices GmbH: From November 2011 to September 2020, I served as CEO at ECAD Electronic Components and Devices GmbH. In this role, I played a key role in establishing the company in the telecommunications market and led a team of 22 employees. I was responsible for building customer relationships, introducing new business areas such as Additive Production, and implementing supplier qualification processes in Asia and Eastern Europe.

InTiCa Systems AG: From April 2009 to September 2011, I worked as a freelance consultant in sales and material management at InTiCa Systems AG. There, I successfully expanded the customer and supplier network and introduced new product lines.

ESS GmbH: As CEO of ESS GmbH from September 2000 to March 2009, I led sales activities and developed strategies for customer and supplier acquisition.

Digisound-electronic GmbH: From January 1998 to August 2000, I served as a Technical Sales Manager at Digisound-electronic GmbH. In this role, I was responsible for all product areas and oversaw technical aspects of ongoing projects for key customers such as Siemens and Bosch. I also implemented efficiency improvements in product development and quality assurance.

Education: Degree as Diplom Engineer from the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck in the field of Environmental and Hygiene Technology from 1990 to 1993.
